His first steps into the world of stage began at nine when he sang Elvis Presley's "Blue Suede Shoes" and the Platters "Only You" at an uncles wedding. “I just cut out sideburns from a chocolate wrapper and stuck them on my face” recalls Mark. He entered many talent competitions and in 1992 made his first appearance on RTE as a guest of Gerry Ryan's "Secrets". At age 22 Mark left home to study Drama, Singing and Dancing in London England, at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. He became the first Irish person to ever attend the 3-year full time course. He has appeared on SKY, GMTV, ITV, BBC, Channel 4, RTE, TV3, TG4, Special Guest for Ideal World Shopping Channel and Nationwide R.T.E. Television.
